    You can't.

Make it function or pretend you don't see the dash light.

Sure. Put some black tape on the dash of your brand new 40K truck. Real classy.

Why didn't you transfer the sensor over? In any case if you have them then make a pressure bomb. Mount them all on a piece of pvc sealed up and then pressurize. Keep it in the truck under seat.

Sometimes we don't all have to respond with such harsh comments that don't help anyone. Perhaps the OP has two sets of tires and is referring to his winter tires being steelies with no tpms.

Now let's imagine that's the case here as I am going to hijack this thread. Now that the OP knows you can't disable TPMS what happens if you drive the winter with the tpms light on? Other than annoying you does traction control and other systems function without incident?

It's a pita that ateq programmers can't program 2017 Tacoma TPMS until next year. So for this year going to mount without sensors and next year once I am confident ateq can program 2017 I'll then put in the schrader sensors.

    Thanks

Changing them over.. NOT.. too much $ for dismount and rebalancing. Every 6 months..
Purchase new ones... NOT.. too much $ for nothing.
A small piece of tape on a $46,500.00 truck....YEAH...:broccoli::broccoli::broccoli::bananadance: I've already wasted way too much $ on this truck..!

Yes it does. Every vehicle after 2008 sold in the US has TPMS

No, i keep air in the tires. I like the TPMS system when off-road, allows me to keep an eye on tire pressure in case one gets punctured

If you are in AussieLand, I guess you don't use winter tires... Makes sense to me..

I also check my tires and don't really need/want this "feature"...!
