Striper season is kicking up on the local pond... Nothing like seeing a group of striped bass schooling on topwater!

This 11 lb'er simply destroyed a pole dancer stripped through the mayhem!

On the trail to the Yellowstone River in the Lamar Valley...passing a few hundred Bison along the way. Fly fishing paradise!

For those that order flies. Where have you all found to be a good place for ordering basic flies?

I buy most of mine locally, but I did buy some here and they seem to be quality flies.

I usually stock up on basic essentials like royal wulffs and para Adams from big y flies. I know they're foreign but they're cheap and consistent. When you buy local you're often buying imported flies with a mark up lol (unless they're advertised as tied locally of course)

Just got back from a few days on the San Juan :). It was an interesting fishery in some beautiful country. It was nice to spend a few days with my dad and brother!
Kinda like fishing in a hatchery where the fish only want midges lol. We did luck out and catch some surface action that was absolutely bananas :D

A few steelhead I caught yesterday, hooked 6 landed 2. Lost a buck that had to have been over 40". Photos were taken solo using a timer camera I phone app, leaned on a log. Caught on an 8wt rod nymphing.

    Holy. Crap.

The flies I don't tie come from local shops and the Internet depending on how many I need/how fast I need em. I actually found a local guy who ties & sells flies on eBay and have been buying them from time to time
