A good handling upgrade would to shave weight off of the truck.

unless i need the weight, like a winch bumper, e tires, racks and stuff, then i avoid it, just because a more tossable vehicle is more fun, and there's no fun quite like tossing a vehicle around, and i live for it. but i did get a truck for utility, so that's there however i need it. but until i need extra metal on the thing it's staying light.

no doubt... I'm thinking when the time comes flywheel, driveshaft, drum brakes in the back, and possibly the 20" wheels will all have to go in favor of lighter parts. Im thinking 18s with similar tire profile and lightweight forged wheels, as well as a light flywheel, drilled and slotted disc brakes on all 4 corners, and a carbon fiber driveshaft would be an ideal setup for the taco. For a truck that wants to rev out as badly as this one does I would think between the weight savings of an aluminum racing flywheel and carbon driveshaft combined would be about the biggest upgrade we could do outside a supercharger. The flywheel is 32 lbs stock i believe and comparable aluminum ones weigh in at about 15 lbs, and the stock driveshaft might be 40 or 50 lbs while a carbon fiber one would be less than half of that. Overall, thats a weight savings of more than 40 lbs directly off of the driveline. Combine that with lighter wheels/tires, and drilled and slotted rotors instead of solid discs front and drums in back, you're talking 60+ lbs of unsprung weight. Thats basically like taking 600 lbs off the body of the truck. Not only that but all those upgrades would probably contribute to SIGNIFICANTLY better gas mileage if you can manage to drive it like a normal person still :burnrubber:
Additionally, for those of you who have been experiencing lots of driveline clunks and things of that sort, carbon driveshaft would absorb lots of that due to its ability to bend and flex unlike steel or aluminum shafts

tundra lowering parts are bolt on! All it is is they supply a 2" drop spacer for the front shock mount, so it moves the mounting point where the spring rests on the shock down 2", and then in the back you install a larger bolt in shackle and flip the springs under the axle.

I'm pretty sure you would run into problems with the front end of the pro, because the pro has coilovers in the front I'm not sure the lowered shock collars would fit it, have to call SOS and ask
