Haven't had time to even look into insurance yet. The front was crushed in so I didn't want to start or but the steering and brakes are fine so we towed it home last night. Happy to not have any police involved cuz I'm sure they'd have made me get a wrecker.. as to riding with someone else that's a real hard maybe, will decide that as the week goes and I see how this is going to play out

Man Im so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how much this might of messed with plans for the upcoming holidays. Would be cool if you could make it though. Im not sure if you would need any help with your rig getting stuff off, but Im down to help if you need an extra hand for anything.

Is it worth it to sound off to THE FURIOUS with what we are bringing so he can update the first post? Im thinking I am going to make a 24 batch of the betty crocker blueberry muffins with the strussel on top. We got a few days to coordinate more food if people need others to bring stuff.

New rider do you think your truck might be driveable/salvageable or is it def toasted? I bet you could junk yard it back together if the cab is still solid.

So its gonna be a tight time-frame for me. My bumper and Sliders will get here Thursday according to the tracking info. so i should be able to put that stuff on Thursday night and head up Friday or Saturday.
Dang just read above that sucks what happened to your 2nd gen.. but at least it gives you an excuse to upgrade to a 3rd gen. Hopefully everything works out.

Are they bolt on sliders? If they are, would you have to drill additional holes in the frame for additional support? If you do, your sliders might take a while as drilling the frame out takes a little bit. Worst case you could always do the sliders first and then pack the bumper and we can wrench that sucker on this weekend if needed!

I just need to do a few final things this week. I'm taking off my air dam, mud flaps, and hitch cover. Then I'm as ready as I'm going to be.

Got my new ditch lights aimed last night, and took it out on a dirt road in Loudoun county to test them out. They work great. I'm pumped!

So they are bolt on sliders, I'm not sure about drilling, the instructions for them don't say anything it. I am currently tracking down the instructions for my front bumper gonna email CBI if I don't find anything on the interwebs.
