^ This guy cracks me up, he knows best. Be sure to spend $3k on a proper suspension if you aren't off roading to clear bigger tires even if you don't have the budget for it...

I get what your saying. I don't want to remove my fox shocks and coils is all. They are great. But just want the truck to sit higher.

It's not ideal, but I get what your saying, maybe a 1'' body lift that toytec offers. From a function standpoint those fox shocks are more than capable of a setup, sounds like your after a certain stance.

ill probably just leave it be. Its already got a little lift in it. Clears my 285s now that I trimmed some plastic. Truck rides amazing.

Sorry for all the questions. So 5100s front and back or just up front?

No worries, you won't need them necessarily bust I would so you don't overextend the stockers in an off-road type situation, don't forget the extra leaf (aal) or leaf pack in the back

Honestly, my offroading will be limited to probably hitting the beach in NC on vacation. Doubtful that I'll be doing any heavy offroading. While I don't want to go super cheap and regret it, I also don't want to buy stuff that I might not necessarily use to its full potential. Just looking for a bit of a lift all around while still being reliable. 3" would be perfect. Of course at 3" I'm wondering if UCAs should also be upgraded. This stuff makes my head spin!

Called Marie at headstrong she well get you setup. 5100s with coils would be reliable and capable on a budget. Anything over 2.5'' usually requires ucas to get your numbers in spec, you can run stock but it won't be truly in spec likely caster off. Gotta pay to play my friend ;)

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I agree. Don't want to cheap out. I'd rather do it right and not have to worry.

    all tore up already
then how do you get a spacer above the front shock mount and cup it sits in? you are scaring me... and id be willing to bet the fox shocks are a direct replacement shock, they arent going to make a "kit" for the pro.

I called Toy Tec and they are working on some things for the PRO. I was only wondering if they would make something. And why am I scaring you?? Its a spacer not a big deal. I don't hard core off road my truck. I never had a single issue with my 2010 with spacer. My big thing is I don't want to remove my fox shocks that are on my truck to put a lesser quality suspension lift in it. Ill most likely leave it the way it is as I stated. Truck sits great and clears my tires.

i thought you ment you want to install a spacer without removing the shocks. ive seen some bootleg ways around things, but i cant fathom how you were planning that one. now i see you mean replace the fox shocks

OP your truck looks amazing, no matter what you do to your truck someone will always have something negative to say about it. If you buy the best suspension money can buy you will get the "you should have bought XYZ suspension for a lot less" and if you spend what your comfortable with or what's within your reach you will still catch shit for it. Your truck, your money enjoy it how you want. My 2 cent..

I’m glad this thread resurfaced. Why is this a bad setup if the OP is doing no off-roading? Does it ride that bad?
