Glad I've never experienced said Kazoo sound....even with the vent shades.

 

Dealers don't like replacing warranty parts, no money to be made doing that so I'm not surprised nothing was done without a TSB for it. Just kinda pissed because my dad is the one who drove it and couldn't get the sound to happen.

 

In-channel stick? Or stuck on the door itself?

Post 70 is my "fix", post 56 was my noise.

I hear typical wind and a slight tire hum...that's about it.

 

I have the AVS in-channel visors and was doing 85 on the toll road last week with no whistle.

 

Not a whistle, it's a kazoo/buzz/vibration sound. Like when you're phone vibrates, but louder.

 

My wife described my sound, as the door farting.

 

Either way....something is flapping!

She did try to blame me. Then realized that even I cannot fart for 3 minutes non-stop!

Nope, but I did have that BEFORE I installed them when driving into a head/cross wind hitting that left front corner. Not very loud, but noticeable when at speed on a windy day. Haven't heard it since.

So far, the only rattle or vibration is the flashlight in my glove box that occasionally gets loose.

 

Thats interesting. So in your case, the AVS visors cured it...Berry berry interesting!

 

I have a different shaped headlight in the third gen, designed to disrupt airflow that hits the side mirrors. A hard wind on that corner changes how the wind hits the mirror and that window.

Your aerodynamics are a tiny bit different than mine.
