Same. I made it down the rock washout at the end with stock skids. They are bent all to hell... And I wouldn't do it again without them... But it's doable.

so yesterday i went to the RI spot maybe spent hour, hour and a half there. not bad little place pretty easy rolling i would say i maybe did a 1/3 of the trails back their. only one spot i dragged a mud flap on. it was pretty dry back there and maybe i came across 3 or 4 little patches of water. did not air down or anything. my truck is totally stock with a 2" block lift and street tires. but was the first time i got the taco off road and a little dirty so was happy to get out there.

Yea I guess I'm down for some fun. . . Might take me a minute to get adjusted to driving LHD again. I always transition to RHD super easily but the transition back is harder. I practiced my line choices with my rental Rav4 TRD Off Road (or so I named it TRD off road after we survived the hell we went through in the mountains and cliff roads)

I had her out sliding a few times on the Salt flats until we almost rolled when I slid into a dip and she went on two. After that I just kept it to standard off roading. I can't wait to get in my truck again driving this thing blows. No power, the ground clearance sucks and there's a massive brace hanging down across the middle of it that snags on everything.

We actually will hit the muddy trail if this is where your talking about @mach1man001 you can always go around it to the right if you want @lukemar but as for me i like to slam in them making a mud wall so high i cant even see in front of me. (During the times i dont get stuck) Here are a few pics of the muddy trail we will go through during the meet.

It will also rain tomorrow all day so hopefully that will muddy some things up but not too much. Happy medium i guess.

You would think, but my air intake is right up under the top of the hood. There really isnt a way for any water to get in unless i completley submerge the engine bay.

Yeah that's not my thing anymore but if you're into it than I say go for it. Mud is very abrasive on bearing and seals and junks everything up. Not to mention it sticks to everything and is a pain to really get clean. But like I said if you want to go for it.

Not to mention that it holds moisture against metal parts and helps them rust...

This is true. I still have mud residue on my engine bay, door seals, and all under nearh. I have powerwashed and even did the carwash that washed underneath and nothing. It does work if you scrub with lysol wipes but even then it dries everything out and ill be dammed if im going to spend hours cleaning up the under carraige of my truck just to go get dirty again.

My philosophy is that after going through the trails to find a nice big puddle and fly through it. In my head, it will clean the under carraige.
