if you're going to spend over $2k on a suspension why not save up, and spend $3k on re-buildable (king or fox are good choices)
PM Micah from downsouth motorsports. he'll work on prices with you
also, ask around. just about everyone who went with a "cheap lift" then eventually bought re-buildable will tell you they wish they would have just saved up and went for re-buildable (I took their advice so I can't speak from experience on that one)
just my 2 cents. done ranting

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
waking up at 530 for work after spending all day yesterday walking in a river and not getting in bed til midnight does not make a fun monday morning.

Kids really enjoyed their first ever fishing trip and got to see a few rainbow trout up close & personal like over the weekend though so i guess it's worth it.

this. then pm micah, and see what he can do for you
and this. Gideon can seem like a dick sometimes (because he's very direct) but he knows what he's talking about
I went with dirt king uca's because they're boxed, super beefy, cheaper, and still uniballs just like TC. happy with them so far

just do your research, ask guys like Gideon lots of questions, and take your time. that'll get you exactly what you want and what's best for your truck...

Well....A group of us spent the day Saturday in Tennessee! (Some from there to begin with) Our group was from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama. We did Dirt Devil....which could be more appropriately named DUST DEVIL at the moment. Very dry. As dry as it is, we were surprised to see as much moving water in the streams. (Must be spring fed?) Leipers Fork was cool! We all stayed in 2wd, never really had any challenges, but totally enjoyed the trip! A friend of mine went to Vanderbilt back in the early '90's....That was the last time I was in Nashville. Damn has it changed!

Plan is to come back in the spring!

Brent, tire looks good. I tried to care about big gashes like that when I first started getting them but nothing seems to degrade the tires enough to matter so I stopped paying attention. It's really hard to drive on rocky terrain and not expect the death of your tires at some point. I won't be surprised at all when mine blow up at 80 mph on the highway one day. Haha

I'm assuming its from Harlan. I noticed it a few days after the trip. Can't see any belts though so I'm just gonna roll with it, pun intended.

Can't tell ya gotta kill ya :p. My buddy essentially has this entire small town locked down as far as getting permission to hunt and we scout a lot. Usually central Kentucky is a desert as far as waterfowl but for whatever reason this area we hunt is a little fly way and we crush em. Killed over 200 birds last year and killed I think 26 woodies in the early season. Didn't get on any goose for early season though. I believe the farm ponds around this town provide a good stop over point for birds traveling from a series of large lakes throughout southern Ohio, central Kentucky and Northern Tennessee. We've got some pretty wild videos as far as number of birds for central Kentucky.

Even cut tires deserve the best. I've invested $1000s in to a proper camera setup so I try to use it as much as possible.

Right on! That is awesome. Had work weekend last weekend and saw a few hundred birds. Come Saturday, they'll be jalapeno cream chease duck poppers =)
