F it, lets do a Texoma meet. I havent caught anything but a gar in the last 2-3 years but ill dip a pole in the water and drink a beer.

A Texoma meet sounds like a great idea!
@Zac of all trades I figured there were trails up there and heard of the mud pits, but never knew where they were. The trails sound like fun!

 

ive got a bass boat that i have no idea how to tow, launch, start or pilot.. who wants to ride with me

 

I'm in for Texoma. Haven't been up there in years. Sorry I missed y'all over the weekend the weather was too good to ignore a last minute backpacking trip.

How was that meet in Lewisville?

nope, dad bought the boat. sent me off to parks and wildlife to title it. So, technically i own a boat and trailer thats parked in my back yard. No idea what to do with it.

 

I'd be happy to help, but I won't be up that way for a little while

 

That right there is how adventures start. What kind of boat you got over there?

Dude, driving around on the trails around there was awesome! And it provided way better camping spots!

 

Yeah i will have to find out exactly the address of the GFs cabin, but the trails were super close to the cabin!
I know its close to the Air Force annex up there on the lake.

 

Bring it to the Texoma meet and we can see how many people it can hold!

Ok so here is where i was and found the trails... i put a pin on the road "paw paw creek rd" hahaha

here you can see some of the trails on the north side of Paw Paw Creek Rd... i did see one going south off of the road but i did not go down it.

Also there is supposed to be a long hiking trail that goes from the marina around to the bridge. It would probably take a few hours... supposed to be able to ride motorcycles on it too... So i will be bringing mine up next time i go!

 

I think its a bass tracker 16 or 17 footer with a 30 hp mercury outboard. Its maintained well, we make sure it starts up everything and then. he said the motor is good for light load and maybe 2-3 people but I have no idea.
