The last time we camped, we stayed right where that map says sherwood shores. We had about 10 people with tents set up and still had plenty of room to toss the football around. I love that area.

Judging from the trails i was on i have no doubts you could go down them. As long as it hasn't rained a lot recently you should be fine. Its defiantly a good trail for beginner people looking to off-road in their trucks.. Im sure we can find some more challenging stuff/places out there for the more equipped/experienced drivers.

Maybe Texoma is not the best place for you to learn.... I'd go somewhere smaller and closer. Texoma can get rough, very rough.

Try jumping off a party barge and forgetting to anchor the f-ing thing. Took us almost 45 minutes to swim and catch up to it. I thought we were going to drown or bail the boat and head for shore.

We never had everybody off the boat at the same time... but I can't judge, I wrecked a stern drive on a submerged boat ramp at PK.

Is there a date for the Texoma meet?

Yeah, probably not the best place to take your boat out for the first time, that 30hp is plenty for calm water, but when the wind starts blowin and you are unfamiliar with your boat, you could end up in some trouble

No, I jumped off. Then my buddy and his gf jumped off. Then her friend jumped off. His gf and her friend got back on pretty quickly but we were farther out pulling in jug lines. Niether of them could figure out how to get the boat started to get back to us.
