New guy around

Hey,

I am looking at getting a 99 TRD tacoma for around 10k with 130k on it.

I have heard nothing but great things about these trucks and hope to get it here real soon.

I was a very active member on another forum, so I look forward to being one here as well.

Anyway, just wanted to make myself known!

Pretty much... Again, at lest I hope. Applied for loan over the web yesterday and hopefully will get a call tomorrow on the status.

I have already been looking into a few mods right off the bat. Diff breather extension, deck plate mod, rear locker skid plate , and transfer case skid plate.

Any other ones that I should look into?

 

Ok, talked to the bank today and they should be getting back to me tomorrow. So, I should know by then if I am getting the Tacoma!

Ok, here is the rundown:

My bank ok'ed the loan, but only for 48 months, so that would have been 371 a month! I said hum, no.

I might be able to get away with doing a 60 or 72 month loan on a 03. I found a 03 with 65K on it, TRD, the works, for 14, 250. It has a "branded" title as the guy said it was stolen 3 years ago. So, when I talk to the gal helping me with the loan tomorrow, I am going to see what we can do with this 03...
