So, I got the official word that the Mazda's a total loos. w00t! So now I have to compile everything I've got for receipts as far as my tweaks, compose an email and see what I can get out of them. I'm not sure if we should just get another one or try and reach for something else. If I go CX-5, I'd have to go up a trim level to get the headlight option package I'd like this go 'round since the closest one I could with them was in VA.

We kinda want a Jeep Grand Cherokee though...

if you get a grand cherokee don't get nav. everything runs through that system and when it screws up, it affects you radio ac etc. i had a rental with 4k miles where the ac kept turning off on me this summer, because the nav system kept freezing. other than that lovely cars

ps i just saw an article about a dog that was skinned alive at a butcher but escaped and was running around with just the fur left on its feet. i don't know if i want to cry or throw up

Really now. I know exactly what we want, and depending on final numbers for the Mazda payout what we can truly afford. Shoot me a PM and we can talk a little further.

Make DAM sure they have done all the campaigns ( recalls) BEFORE you take delivery....The fixes are great upgrades BUT need to be done by that final "Ride" ,before signing..... Experience of a behind the scenes talking....easier to leave with a FINISHED product...

Sounds about right for a new car. Mopar offers a lifetime warranty that is most likely something I'd fork up the $$$ for. If it were a T4R, I'd laugh, but with the amount of electronics and other BS, I'm not ripping apart a dash to fix circuit boards.

Lets just say they set the "Bar" real high and engineering is just catching their tail.......o_O

It used to pay the techs 2-4 hours and the re-write is down to 1-2 hours...;) and that is just the trans issue

Have you been to the 3rd generation section? It's identical to that. You'd think the new Tacoma was a Trabant.
