What kind of financing did you get on your 2010? i'm looking at getting a 2010 double cab 4x4 trd off road. my fingers are crossed that this big toyota recall might open up 0% apr for 36mo. I can get 4.24 from my bank, anyone have better luck from the dealer?

My brother in law got 0.0% on a Camry he bought at a local dealership here two weeks ago. I don't know if it's a national program or not.

I have no personal experience... I get 0% on all of my cars :)

Bought my Tacoma in December, Toyota had 0% on all sorts of vehicles at the time, but not the Tacoma (naturally).

I ended up getting 3.89% through M&T Bank (which you could try being in NY). I have never done any business with M&T before, but they were giving the best deal at the time.

I understand....I was lucky to get a very good price and I had my 2000 Taco bought back by Toyota, so the coop (cash out of pocket) was not that much....... (Got the 2010 A/C, 4X4, SR5 for just over $22K)

Purchased 2010 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Offroad Prerunner (everything but the 4x4) In December of 09

    :(

The sum totaled up to about 40k with all the extras and packages and what not... I ended up putting 10k down and financing 30k. Got a good rate though. 1.9% for 60 months..

how'd you spend 40k? I'm looking at a 2010 double cab 4x4, trd off road. That's pretty much the biggest dollar package minus the jlb sound and it's msrp for 31.5, and i got quotesd 28.9

6% interest on a 60 month loan through Toyota. That's the highest interest rate I've ever had on a car before, but the best my bank could give me was 5%, and since I plan to pay it off it in under 2 years the actual interest paid won't be that much. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and just financed through Toyota.

I got 4.9% through Toyota financial on $12.5K. I just sent them a check for $9750 after I sold the Z. This truck'll be mine by summer :-D

The way the economy is, as long as you have enough cash to be comfortable, holding additional cash on top of that when you have debt is not doing anything for you. Savings, money markets, and CDs are paying out barely anything over 1%. In the face of a 5% loan, its just better to pay it off and build your savings back up with what you save from not having a monthly payment.
