    I am traveling 3 hours

    @misdirection1982 is coming from Charlotte.

    There shouldn't be issues with finding a site. Ive been in contact with some other overland groups and they know of our size.

    Don't know of any burn bans. Something to look into.

    @NewRider (rip truck) says to get from Harrisonburg to the top, takes about 4 hours

    It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
    I don't think we'll be eating except maybe for dinner Saturday. Let me know what to bring for dinner Saturday.

    I also have a 2 burner camp stove (not sure that I have propane, but I might), that I can bring with on Saturday, or I could hand it off to someone that it going up on Friday, and get it back next week or something, if that would be at all helpful.

    I also have 2 tents (2 person and 4 person), a couple of sleeping bags (not sub-zero), a white gas lantern, and an air mattress that I could loan if anyone needs them.

    Let me know, I'd be happy to do so.

    IMG_1639.jpg IMG_1643.jpg Count me out on this for sure guys... started the insurance process today, hoping to hear back tomorrow as to where the truck is getting towed to get "assessed" but I'm fully expecting it o be totaled. Depending on how much they give me for it and what the buy back cost is there are a lot of options I'm thinking about... a part out may happen, but I'd be keeping the good stuff for the new truck so... and for those curious:

    great! what about camping? and after seeing the side picture and the bed damage its 100% totaled.(i know this because my dads was side swiped, had the front fender mirror headlight replaced, the door and bed dents fixed and the half of the truck repainted was 4800) what parts survived? the suspension?

    I just thought about that. We might need an alternate route. Maybe 50 to Winchester and hope on 81 there?

    Suspension and drive train survived... truck was far from stock. All pro front bumper welded to solid piece by me, all pro ifs skid and custom built Tammy skid, OME shocks all around with 886 coils, custom stacked leaf packs, glassworks front fenders, satoshi grill (done by me), half way done sliders (hadn't gotten to finishing them yet), custom rear high clearance with reciever.... I think that mostly covers it...

    If things go like I'm sorta guessing they will, I'll end up buying it back and pulling the suspension for the new truck and drivetrain as parts. The rear bumper is stout but I've been wanting to redo it anyway. The skids I'm getting off before they get their hands on it so those I'll have. The sliders are welded on and needed work so they're not a huge loss and if I do buy it back the core of the all pro is still good I think, I MAY use that as a starting point and build my own front

    Unfortunately that's probably gonna help them total it... never had the recall done for a number of reasons so it's definitely got some rust. Even if they "ok" that I wouldn't give it away
