It always amazes me when I ask somebody at work to move a truck and they reply with "I can't drive a stick shift" to which I reply "my mistake I thought you were a grown fucking man. But that's ok I'll call my wife and have her pull my 13 year old daughter out of school so she can come down here teach you"

In the past year or so two cars were on cinder blocks, 2 stolen, and at least 6 broken into. And we live in a nice neighborhood

It's actually really nice, but car theft is a relatively big problem here...

 

That bad boy gets closed everynight, by the neighbor.

 

We do at night. But cars are constantly getting their cars broken into around my work. My friends roommate got his Honda stolen. They found it a week later at a body shop in the middle of them trying to repaint it. Now it's half grey/primer and half the stock blue. He just drives with it like that.

 

As long as TC hasn't already manufactured it.....cause #ripoff

We have a 675 in the shop with the ignition punched. The thief took it about a mile from where he stole it, punched the lock and when he realized the bike had an immobilizer and wouldn't start, kicked it over. It's probably totaled just from the damage from being kicked over. Sucks for the thief because they were able to lift prints from it that are not the owners.

Anyway, property crimes are not likely to land the guilty party in jail in California. And with the passage of Prop 57, you're gonna see property crime increase--just my personal belief.

I've never had a car stolen.

I assume they found his car and wrote a check for damages.. so maybe he just pocketed it and said fuck it.
