Goes along with a joke I heard from a buddy this weekend...

You know what the difference is between a garbanzo bean and a chick pea?
You can have a garbanzo bean on your face for free but you have to pay to have a chick pee on your face.

Evans is pretty fun. Couple sketchy areas on the main trail out of the day lot, and 1 or 2 built Jeep only trails, but the rest is pretty benign.
Surprise is a very rocky but flat as in not a crawl, just like a road paved with one foot plus rocks, road ( slow going) until it's not. There are really only a couple difficult features in the way to the lake, but they are kinda tough. If you are lifted and locked, you can get it without winching. At the lake there is a monster bear pit you can get thru to the lake but plan on winching on the way out.

Got one, and the setting tool. Hopefully taking a second run at it this weekend, but after that.
PM me and we can coordinate.

Lil smash on my rear fender behind the back tire. And a half torn off flare. No big. Was from a stump, not a tree. #longbedproblems.
Thankfully, Brian told me to remove my mud flaps, the bull bar I had, and my steps.....
Wow. Come so far since the 1 st Tahuya run!
Brian has been awesome to lead at least 1 run each year. So much fun and camaraderie!
    Let's do it again!

Definitely interested in hitting some trails this winter.

I've hiked Surprise/Glacier lake, but never wheeled back there.

Haven't been to Evan's in ages; last I was there was in high school, on a dirtbike, in the snow. I've never burned so many calories in my life.

Tahuya is close and fun. Briefly checked it out several weeks ago, and they've done a good bit of work from what I could tell. Didn't have a chance to really wander around, but it had more tricky spots than I previously remembered.
