Decision of the day - Smitty or Maxtrack traction pads... price is a driver for me on this.

 

Thought I would be a genius by mowing up all the leaves this weekend. Now I have twice as many smaller sized leaves all over the yard. Really hoping we get some good wind gusts later and they can become the neighbors problem.

 

You need a good set of mulching blades if you're going to use that approach.

I'd say to look into mulching blades and mowing with the shoot closed, to help much it up even more. That stuff, if it's not too much and cut small enough, will make for good fertilizer for the grass.

 

So is anyone still looking to get Fluid Film before the snow? If I can get an idea of how many would be down I can look for places north of Boston. Might be a drive for some of you though.

Looks like ~$170 for a truck. Not too bad! If we get a list of people interested I can give them a call and see about a group price.

 

Fail. Usually I make quaker instant oat meal with the hot water from the bubbler and throw some raisins/ honey in it for taste.

Ran out of packets so I brought in a zip lock baggie with just regular quaker oats cause apparently you can just microwave them. Forgot to put s cover on my container and exploded them all over the microwave, so now I'm hangry

 

Just ordered a set of studded snows for my wife's car. Wallet's feeling nice and light now... First time dealing with Tire Rack, they had the best price and I guess they ship directly to one of their installers and you just schedule the install from there. Pretty simple.

 

My 2013 has 120,000 miles on it. I have a feeling I will wear the truck out before the frame rots. But maybe not.
