It's especially bad once we get into winter time and all of the moisture that gets kicked up into the mud is full of salt.

Just a brief attendance so far from the wrangler forum:
Ill do a final count on Friday afternoon and if more people comment in, then a final one Friday night.

For those meeting up at the trails since its closer, I will PM you where to meet as there are many entrance's. For those who know the trails location, we are using the new paved road entrance with house's that turns into the trails.

From the wrangler Forum we have:
    mmello13
    wranglermatt223
    JRG413
    samst2055 - bringing a few jeep buddies.

Is everyone okay with the Walmart in Putnam CT or is anyone up for meeting closer? We all seem to live more north or east of the trails and I think only one person here is all the way in CT.
    What do you guys think?

I'm tentatively in but I'll be meeting you guys on the trails probably. No point in shooting into CT when I'll be coming from RI area.

Also have we confirmed whether or not the power lines are legal? (aka the area where we met you guys)

Yes they are legal. All the trails one way or another meet up with the power lines and no one will be there worker wise since the bridge is gone and its a saturday. Also I was very cautious watch for tresspassing signs or private property signs and there were none. During the trail I made, we only cut across them twice and will never ride along them so well be good.

Both gas line right of way and transmission right of way are always illegal here in the Northeast. Not saying I don't utilize them, just saying

I never saw a no tresspassing sign on them, just a no climbing in them sign so i figured they were legal. We wont be riding on them anyways. We just cut right across them.

It's private property, so it's all illegal. I've been up and down the t-line and line ROW countless times, so I'm not saying don't drive down them.cause that would be pretty hypocritical. But in the Northeast the way the easements work is even though the line traverses public land the power company has an easement (in the case of this specific corridor 200') which the POWER company (National Grid) is legally responsible for. As such the Tline and gas line Rights of Way are considered private property and entering without permission is trespassing.

There are no trespassing signs/ locked pipe gates at the road crossings where the power company accesss the line from. However we generally access from a few spots which are not off the road crossings that the Power Co has their access from so you don't see those things.

Not trying to argue, just educate. I was involved directly in the rebuild of that specific line from a technical perspective, and Transmission Lines are my industry.
