I liked the truck. And I've been pricing tundras for about a year and this was the closest I've been to my planned budget. The color and engine and everything was all what I wanted. Hopefully I can afford it lol

They don't budge on pricing at all. Has to be a Toyota thing. They let me walk when I tried to get $1k off the price lol. The only time they gave me some discounts was in the finance office

I'm telling you. Get financed through a credit union. Then it's like talking with cash. A sale guy will take thousands off a pre-owned if he can get an instant payday. My wife an I did this for our Camry. We gave the sales guy a Final price (Tax, Title, and licence), sales guy said no so we walked. Over the next few days the sales guy called back a few times, each time with a lower price. Each time we said no. Then the sale guy calls one last time and says he maid it work. We got the car for exactly the price we thought it was worth.

When you do 'dealer financing' you are at the mercy of the dealer. The only reason you should go through a dealer for financing is if you have bad credit. And they will screw you big time.

Aint that the damn truth. I honestly love my credit union. Think about closing my other bank accounts and moving it all to one...

I'm gonna look into credit unions for the next time. This was a window shopping turned into buying experience. Il be more prepared next time. Theres no credit unions in my area so my experience is blank with them.

I'm about to do this. I have a couple credit cards and other debts. I'm thinking about consolidating them all to one. Like get a big enough loan to pay them all off but the loan have a 5-6% interest rate rather than the 23% the credit cards have.

Only way to consider this is if you STAY OUT of the credit cards after your done. If you can't pay the card at the end of the month, don't buy with it. Otherwise you end up with large truck payment and cards.

Just some friendly free advice,,, and it's worth twice what you paid for it. :D

Are you being allowed on the track or are you sneaking in, running a couple laps, then run like hell?

:rofl:No I've been on the track several times with Cadillac without having to run like hell. This weekend Fri-Sun is an event called the V Performance Lab. Owners had to register and pay a small fee and they let you spend all day beating their cars around the track and going through different classes/driving modules to make you a better driver. Includes a brand new helmet/helmet bag, jacket, hat, catered food and you hang out with Johnny O'Connell too. Best part is "not my gas, not my tires" so I absolutely love going to this event and truly testing the track capabilities of an ATS-V and CTS-V.

This is a really great idea just make sure that you don't then spend a ton of money on your cards and end up with a loan and cards to pay. A friend of mine did this(because he's an idiot)and has about 30K in debt that he's trying to pay off now.

I'm going to cut up my credit cards and close the accounts when I do it lol. No more credit cards for me. They're difficult once you get out of hand with em.
