    First post...

I am leasing a new 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport. Love the truck so far, hate the look of the grille. Do not like the overall appearance... specifically, I am not a fan of the chrome and the design pattern.

Looking for alternative options to replace my grille. I understand that I am in a lease however, I fully intend on buying my truck when my lease is up.

I like the look of the grille on 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro. From my understanding, this grille should fit without any problems. MY MAIN QUESTION IS, WOULD SWITCHING FROM A TRD SPORT TO TRD PRO GRILLE EFFECT MY VEHICLES WARRANTY? I have reached out to the Toyota dealership a few times and have gotten the same response that doesn't help, "Toyota does not recommend any modifications to their vehicles".

Hope to hear back with some helpful responses, until then... Have a nice day!

I don't see how a factory made optional grille could impact warranty. Aftermarket perhaps, but it's an easy swap out to do yourself. If you have an issue swap it back before going in. Factory Pro grille, I'd just leave it.

Unless you plan on keeping the truck, spending money on parts for a leased vehicle is kind of a silly waste of money. But I doubt it would be an issue. Congrats on truck.

Changing the grille out wont affect warranty unless you tried to get the grille warrantied.
