350 is too low for the raid even on NM. We completed NM with one of our members at 354 but the rest of us were around 370 at the time. Aksis Phase 2 you will get one shotted by most everything.

OK I'm at 368 I think and was doing fine one guy was a 354 and the other was a 389 or something none of us had done it before so we looked it up and figured it out kinda sorta. Would like to run it with someone that knows what they are doing then get back to my group and finish it. Any idea how many people you are supposed to need to do this?

Don't take this the wrong way but if you don't know how many people you are supposed to have in a raid team then I HIGHLY suggest you watch the first video for dummies that I posted. And then watch every video on youtube on Destiny that you can. You will learn a lot of stuff from a lot of people that are much better than me. Just wait until you do the Outbreak Prime quest. Hope you know binary math lol.

 

Haha I've been watching alot of videos and learning all kinds of shit. I have watched some raid videos but not a ton lol I'm more of a let's try it forst if we can't figure it out then look it up kind of guy. But yea I don't have 6 friends either lmfao

 

You should really be 380 for Aksis 2.0 and have a good weapon to take down the captain. He will rape your ass if you dont get him quick.

I say this as a guy thats tried to carry a 370 on aksis 2, its just not worth the hassle unless the 5 others can pick up the slack.

 

OK so wait until 380 and get a God roll. That's my mission for this week. God roll is exploding rounds what else exactly?

 

God roll is really about the user and PvP. Its not necessary in a raid. Al though there are raid specific weapons that drop, they are not needed.

My 1st time i did the WotM i used a Hawksaw/devils dawn and gally.
I could dps with the sniper or gjally and take down everything else with the pulse. Shit, the Zhalo might even work good on adds.

 

I never paid attention to names before I guess I should figure out what the name of mine are lmfao. I've been trying to find a God roll forever so it's more for the aspect that I make it a mission to find one. I'll have to do more Crucible and shit and hope I get better weapons

 

You should step back and just do the exotic quests like the Mida, Black spindle, Gjallyhorn, sleeper simulant, No time to explain & Kvostov. All very great weapons for raids. all have YouTube vids.

There are very comparable legendary weapons like we discuss a lot.

OK well that's awesome but where the he'll are the exotic quests at? I can't find them. Because I will murder the quests lol

 

YouTube. Some are triggered by opening a chest, finding fragments, ghosts and what not.
Just plug in the name into youtube. Every gun has a walkthrough.

 

You say that. Some of the quests aren't as easy as you think and you're going to have to have more than 2 other friends to complete them.

A God roll has more to do with PvP than PvE. Explosive rounds are hardly a God roll and not even on the list. That is probably one of the least God roll things you can look for. As mentioned by others you can do the raid with pretty much whatever weapon you want. A decent Scout Rifle / Pulse Rifle will suit the raid just fine. A high impact Sniper is needed along with a GH / Sword to take down yellow bar Captains.

God roll for PvP is a weapon with high stability, high caliber rounds (to cause flinch), hidden hand, etc... and intrinsic perks for that weapon type: be it Pulse Rifle, Scout, Auto, Hand Cannon, etc... Explosive rounds are not needed in PvP.

Yea man, the Sleeper simulant, black spindle and exotic swords are some of the most difficult to pull off even at a high level cause they are capped.

The sword like the dark drinker is a long ass questline that has you

Killing 25 with sword in crucible
500 abilty kills (like void) which sucks for Titan and Hunter classes.
Gathering atleast 150 relic iron for the .10% chance you get the crystle with the iron

Im not even giving all of the details here.


But this shit is the stuff that makes it so worth it!

The ToM, by far a long ass questline to get a weapon that makes the daughters and oryx suffer. You practically have to scour the dreadnought to get 45 fragments.
