No spacers, I guess it's 2.5 lift with 3rd gen and yes, they are 285s. 1 inch taller I think

What's the best process for powder coating TRD skids as they already have been sprayed? Any risk putting it over the factory coating? Or does it need to be sand blasted

Got my Mictuning Led Bed lights in today, 2 days early. Stayed up till 3 installing them! Holy man are these things ever nice. Super heavy duty. Didn't use the switch it came with, but ran it to the pin switch I already have on the tailgate for the in cab indicator led. Couldn't be happier with the kit. 20161115_020820.jpg

    See my sig for mods

Paint or powder coat, it has to be removed before powder coating.

I powder coat the custom motorcycle parts I make and sell, and the only paint stripped I've found that quickly removes powder coat as well as paint is Kleen-Strip Aircraft paint remover which is available lots of places like O-Reilly Auto Parts.

Hmm good question... I just took my plate into my powder coating guy and let them take care of it.. I'm pretty sure they will have to sand blast it before they powder is so that the powder has a better surface to stick too

what do you mean you cant have it installed until tuesday? Are you paying someone to install it? Intakes are like the easiest thing in the world to install, I got my AFE on in less than 30 minutes and that was with a break to grab a fresh beer

So I hear TRD makes them now for the 2016. Afe or TRD? Decisions decisions

having seen the TRD design now I will happily stick with my AFE Momentum. More filter choices and better filters in general and you can add the ram air scoop for probably around the same price as the TRD.

I saw a youtube video with a guy with the mometem afe intake. Sounds straight up mean with stock exhaust. I have a aero turbine exhaust. I hear to stay away from oiled filters like K&N

I was waiting on Aero to do something bolt on for the new trucks, I run Dual 2525XLs on my 08. Opted for the AFE Hi-Tuck...for now. The AFE intake is pretty rad, quiet at cruising speeds but just the right amount of noise when you get over 4k RPMs. We have them in stock and ready to ship, shoot me a PM and I'll get you pricing.
