I was wondering the same thing when I was looking at lift kits before I purchased this one. I've had everything installed for 2 weeks now and so far so good. It's running great and I like the stance it has compared to the stock. Sadly where I live though there's not many trails or places to go far off the road (legally). But I agree. Rough country had great customer service and the product is great as well.

    Black Mirrors could look good

Also, since I'm going with the red and black, should I do something with the rear bumper as well?IMG_2924.jpg

I would de badge the rear

I would go with the base rear colored bumper (i.e. black bumper). Since you have base black front grille

    Would match nicely

Hey man. Just a 3 inch Pro comp Lift with pro-runner shocks. 2 inch block in the back with 1.5 AAL to get away from the bro lean. They had a really good sale @4wheel parts so i bought the stage 1 suspension. So i can save over time to get King or Icon or something. I did the install myself so that saved me money. Then wheels and tires.

Can I ask why you went with a 6" lift instead of a 3" lift? Those tires will fit under a 3" lift with some loving.

Well the recommended tire size for the 6" was 33x12.5 and I honestly didn't wanna deal with how annoying rubbing would be if I went any larger. I already had to take off the air dam in the front of the truck because it rubbed pretty badly. Also, By getting the .3" smaller tire saved me around $100. I just like the stance the 6" gives it and I'm planning to probably get some more stuff in the future and I just thought that if I got any smaller than it, thatI would end up regretting it.

From a looks standpoint the doublecabs always look great 4" or higher, not ideal for off road since it's usually a drop bracket lift but looks damn good. If youre honest with yourself and know you won't be wheeling the truck it's a nice look/choice.

Yeah. Probably not gonna be doing a ton of off-road stuff other than trails and stuff. Probably not any rock crawling or anything of that nature. But I appreciate your complement!

My last truck was a lifted DCLB 3'' with icon setup and still looked small in stance, if i was lifting again I'd go 4'' or higher I really like the rcd kit

Yeah that was my deal too. I didn't wanna put money into it and it look nearly the same. I didn't wanna do something small and then wish I would've done more to it instead.

I feel you there. Put my 285/75/16 - 32.8" tires and felt like I needed 35" tires. When the truck is paid off then 35" tires will go on with my 3" lift. Already cut the body mount way back.

Yeah. After these tires wear down I'll probably get rid of the all terrains and get some mud terrains.
