Did not mean it like that! I'm more pissed that I left late than happy I got some. I'm a creature of habit. Don't mess with my schedules.

 

I'm sure one of the single guys on here would be willing to sit in for you if it's too much of a hassle

I totally relate. I do not do well with changes in my routine. I used to carpool with a teammate to dart matches and ended up telling him no more due to several booze-laced tirades on his part.

 

You heard it here first fellas

 

I hear that! It's especially difficult with good friends or partners wince you want to help them out or accommodate them, but there is always a limit.

 

When it becomes expected to the point of being demanded is a good stress point. Then he would complain when he felt I wasn't ready to go on time..well excuse me, taking care of my father in law is more important than being a taxi because you can't moderate your alcohol intake. Him whining about wanting to leave early one night for hours was the last straw.

In fairness, I do not deal well with drunken sots like this one.

 

Is there a sign up sheet for this mass orgy of shenanigans and ribaldry?

The ratios are not good enough for me to want in.

 

I may have to electronically submit that.

But since you mention this..I think we are as a region overdue for a get together. Tough around the holidays to be sure but perhaps it can be done?

 

My family is out of state, I'll be a loser next weekend. If anyone wants to do burritos I'm down

 

I try to leave at 0730 to get to work by 8. Though helping to get 2 giblets ready in the morning sometime I'm out the door later.

I generally work through lunch and leave around 430. Then finish up emails and nonsense at night.

But my commute is up and down 495 the opposite way everyone else is going so it's usually not bad.

 

I'm going to be around next weekend and it doesn't look like I have plans yet. I'm interested in a get together, having met a few of you briefly at one point or another. Snow tires are on the truck so I don't think anything off-road related is in the cards.

 

Same here. It's always a late bed time at my house for the wife and I. ALWAYS.

 

Yup. I leave work at 430-445, gym from 530-630, swap giblets with the wife and she goes to the 630-730 class. I try to get the 2.5 yo fed while she's at the gym. Then we make dinner, usually eat around 830-9. Try to get the 2.5yo down around 9, then clean up, pack lunches for the next day, feed baby once more, shower and in bed by 11 on a good night. Then up at 0545 to repeat

 

YESSIR. All of that. It's craziness.
