I still like to wheel (hence the regear and lockers to still be installed) but honestly, I bought that FJ to purposely wheel it. My Taco, it's purpose was more for getting my family to places the Sienna couldn't...not to beat on and see if I can climb a wall.

Plus I'm older now with different interests than "wheeling". My mindset is more like "this truck can get me back to that fishing spot nobody else can get to" or "this truck will allow me to take my son down that trail to camp at that one spot on the ledge where he can wake up to a beautiful sunrise".

 

Did you get that new foundation and concealer I told you about?!

Although I had second gen wheels on my truck at one point, I think the offset is wrong for the 1st gens as my tires rubbed the frame with them, same tires back on the 1st gen wheels and the rub was gone.

 

Is this glamping?
