    the piece closest is defiantly galvanized and i thought that was the piece in question

    hot rolled is not shinny... it has a darker matte scale and does not oxidize with that white color

    corners get scratched and it does rust, its a coating.. @aero3685 get some heavy acid and dip it and watch it boil the zink off
