I thought it seemed high. Wouldnt 60-80 be a better cutoff?

I usually have a very strong mid bass setup so i cross at 60hz. If I'm messing around with bass race on a Burp port (55hz tuning) peak is around 65hz id change to 80hz but daily no chance id have it run higher than 60. Different strokes for different folks

Yup! I am thinking about bumping it to 125Hz. See what it sounds like...

I mean they are 10s... Lets see what they can do!. If i had some 15s there is no way i would run them that high.

I had them at 80 for a while. I didnt feel like they were performing to their potential. When i bumped it up to 100 i felt like they woke up a bit.

really shouldn't imo. Even 100hz is to high. 60+ is more your mid bass area and if your short on mid range thats probably why you have it running like this.
IF your happy thats all that matters. If their waking up with 100+ your box is also wrong

The box is sealed with plenty of airspace, i know that for a fact. I will play with it. I immediatly crossed my over @ 80hz then my 6x9 mids from 80hz-5200hz and my highs @5200hz +. Now my 6x9s are rated to play down to 50hz, would you suggest running them that low for better mids and cut the subs off @ 50Hz?

I ran my 2 500w rms subs on n 600w rms amp and they sounded surprisingly good. I did that till i got my 1200w rms amp. It was nice to be able to play them till i got the right amp

Ummmm. well it will defiantly loosen up the spider a little and it would be better than nothing. I dont know if it would fully break them in though.
