    GET READY FOR SUPERSTITION round 14 here we go!!! Back by popular demand to keep ranting and riots at a tolerable level. I'll keep the first post updated with the latest and greatest

    Who: All us on tacomaworld. Yes we allow others too if they cool.

    What: weekend camping trip full of off-roading and pure man badassness

    When: January 19-21 2024

    Where: SUPERSTITION Mt. OHV ( in SoCal)

    Why: because we have all been waiting almost a year to do this again and we can!

    Is my truck capable? You might browse through and see some trucks sending it. You can take your stock truck, 4x4 or LT truck and have a good time. Just know your capabilities.

    The terrain is a sand and rock mountain. The mountain is where most your difficult terrain can be found. We camp at the base of the mountain which is flat and hard pack dirt. Yes RTT and trailer friendly. Also this OHV park connects with ocotillo wells ohv and plaster city ohv.

    DIRECTIONS:

    From Interstate 8 East:

    Take the Dunaway Road Exit North.
    Turn East onto County Hwy S80/Evan Hewes Hwy
    Turn North onto Huff Road
    Turn West onto Wheeler Road.
    Follow Wheeler Road to one of several popular primitive camping areas, or to the base of the Superstition Mountain.

    From Interstate 8 West:
    Take the Drew Rd. Exit North
    Turn West onto County Hwy S80/Evan Hewes Hwy
    Turn North onto Huff Road
    Turn West onto Wheeler Road.
    Follow Wheeler Road to the base of the Superstition Mountain.

    From the 78 or the 111:
    The directions will tell you to take Forester to Imler rd and stay on imler all the way there BUT if you do this you'll run into some huge whoops!!
    Take Forester to Imler and follow Imler to your left (south) so it turns to HUFF RD then turn west onto wheeler

    CAMP WILL BE NEARTHE BASE OF THE MOUNTAIN (the cove) To find camp from wheeler rd. follow Wheeler all the way till you hit the 90 degree right hand turn at base of mountain, make the turn and we should be about a half mile down you'll see the big group of TACOMAS! Here are coordinates for all to have a general idea of where we will be, 32.9378976, -115.8055573


    COMMUNICATION for this event will be thru 2m (race) radios on 151.880 /15x.xxx we are not planning on running relay to cb however if someone shows up running both cb is usually on ch 21

    NOTE: This won't be a sponsored event, but I'm sure we can find plenty of trouble

    I've never been to Superstition, how are the trails? Technical or go-fast desert type terrain?
