When welding on it do you get a penny tast in your nose? Or tast that penny kind of taste?

they do?? diffrent light yes but they are both galvanized

 

he's been practicing on it for so long, he's prolly lost that particular sense.

@aero3685 , step away from the welder until Jack has a chance to check your steel.

 

white vinegar might have enough acid to check it if you want to drop some on there for a bit but you might need a higher acid to check yourself

 

It may be galvanized, I'll concede if it is. But I still say, that it looks like hot roll, on the laptop, chromebook and the android. We need a better pic. It could save a life.

The metal is shiny, but has more of a speckled look instead of the scale flaky look of the stuff from the other day.

Don't know the smell, held my breath when welding and garage doors were open so there was a nice breeze.

 

Where did you get the metal from? Like a metal shop/supply house?
Did you tell them you were gonna weld on it? I'm genuinely concerned here. I have yet to meet up and get that monopod from ya.

 

The guys at work welded galvanized all day today.
They were outside and had one of those big industrial fans going.
I'll let you know if anyone dies

 

x2 on that. I was extremely satisfied with my product. Of course I was in the beginning of that GB so who knows

 

Don't know what's going on here... I'm not about to catch up on 20 pages.
