I am sick, this happened last night on mine and my wife's date night out. Neither my wife or I were hurt, she was upset a little. I was traveling west bound on I64 when out of no where a deer appeared. I swerved and the deer appeared right in front of me and I hit it. The truck is at the body shop now and we will see what kinda job they do putting her back together.

Damn that is shitty. Luckily you stayed on the road and everyone made it out all right. This is why I've been shopping for a front bumper. This is why we have insurance!

Ugh, I'm so sorry bud. Flip side is that it might be a great opportunity to go ahead with a new grill design and BHLM!!!! Also, get that SKEWP you OR guys all want.

Limited wheels, extra rope hooks in bed.
They grow big deer in West Virginia...

I've hit them in my trucks and on my motorcycle....

Report it to your wildlife management agency so they'll have more accurate numbers of the deer population.

Man that sucks but shit happens......it's that time of the year to hit a deer. Not your fault, the police crash report will reflect an environmental factor of deer in the road which will result in the crash not being your fault.

I'm thinking it's about time for a real bumper. Not sure what to get yet but I will research it.

    Glad your ok.

Time to Mod, plate front bumper, to win the truck-vs-deer next time.

Now that we know you are ok... what about the deer? You keep it?

glad the truck did it job and kept you two safe. on a side note, I've never hit a deer before but always wonder if you get to keep the deer after you hit it.

...^^^... Years ago, I almost hit a deer on westbound I-64 about where the 1/4 mile bridge is at about Ona?

Used to drag race (as a stupid kid) on that bridge on I-64 ... :burnrubber:

Good luck with your truck ... just make sure that they use all new OEM parts.
