I've been wanting to get a light bar for sometime now but I don't know what to go with. I don't want just a bar to mount lights on...even though they're are bad-ass looking. I want something the looks more "aggressive" if you know what I mean. I've looked at some baja style bumpers and this one really caught my eye:

What do ya'all think!? I think I've seen a member on here with 'em on his black Taco...and that's where I got it from :D. My concern is I don't want to look to much like a "bro" (no pun intended) with the trophy trucks. Another thing I would hate to lose my bumper esp with the time I've put into painting my fog lights :D.

In the picture the guy have those fenders, which I'm not planning on getting. I'm going to keep my fenders how it is. Would y'all think it'll look wierd?

Any comments, suggestions, bitch, moans, or complaints welcome :D

Here's what my truck look like now.

maybe something like this? I had that light bar made and used it until I bought my all pro. It's more aggressive than most of the prefabbed bars and way stronger than all of them.

it doesn't help with approach angle or bumper protection, though.

and like you noted, unless you have flared fenders, the prerunner bumpers don't really look quite right, in my opinion. the prerunner look is an all or nothing thing

It's cool and all but I'm not feeling where the lights are being mounted.

how about the all pro? you'll keep fog lights, albeit the stock ones won't fit, and you'll have a better approach angle, protection, and the ability to mount a winch

That bumper would be really wide without the fiberglass fenders. I think it'd also look a little odd with the drop-bracket lift on your truck.

I think there are better options for you, but that's just my opinion. :)

EDIT: It'd be trivial to cut the ends off that bumper to make it slightly more narrow to work with the stock fenders. Don't let the width be a deciding factor for you.

I think you can mount those lights between the bars rather than having them on top...:notsure:

Who makes that bumper? Is it all bolt on?. I like where the lights are compared to directly in front of the radiator.

Me too...I called allpro and they said that they're not selling enough off the baja bumpers so they took em off the sight...I guess they order them in quantity's of 10 or something :(

They're accepting orders but only ordering em when there's 10

so you want something like this. Just have someone make you one. I got mine custom made cheaper than the baja bumpers one. Mine is not bolted on though, welded on so it depends on what you want.

I like that bar. Its in the same league as a bull bar, but you wont be rolling with the SUPER high Big 3 and the bullbars on their trucks

If you go the custom route I wouldn't go w/weld on bumper like this one which looks awesome btw. I would w/a bolt on so if you wreck the bumper would take more of the impact (crush) compared to having the impact of the crash go through out the frame.

Not sure how you feel about this one, but it only set me back about 440 plus shipping. Honestly though I probably would have gone with the baja bumper instead had I found it first (better design), but I'll end up keeping this one and modding to it.:D
