Got the tundra home! Holy fuck it's a sweet truck. So many little gadgets tbat are awesome. No wonder trucks have gone up so high in price, even the sr5 models are loaded !

I've nver had a truck this nice lol. It's definitely motivation to work harder tbat for sure.

 

I know...but I can still be sad about it. I doubt I will be 100% ready by the time Jambo rolls around so that makes me sad. I don't want to get in a spot I can't get out of. Obviously I will choose my trails wisely but still. Some unexpected shit happened to us.

 

I cant remember the guys name, looks like rich's cousin, but he has a fairly stockish 4R and wheeled the shit out of it last jambo. I was really impressed with the trails he completed by picking good lines and using spotters.

 

It's a good idea to have both an emergency fund and a credit card or two in reserve. Blow out an Achilles Tendon twice and you're going to want different sources of funds. Not just cash. The key is being wise in how you pay for what.

Someone has to as many times as it takes.

Just buy the truck with the armor already on it.

I'm trying to make it to Jambo and Moab next year, but that's still a long ways off and Lord knows what can happen between now and then.
