Probably not, this isn't the first time GM had this list of options in an off road model that was in the same general class as the Tacoma. Remember the Hummer H3T Alpha? F/R lockers and it came with the 5.3L V8. I'm sure the Chevy Colorado will sell better since people are more familiar with the ZR2 and this one comes with a better suspension and a diesel option.

Yea I had to order minimum quantities for stuff. So I made sure I ordered enough connectors for all the extra terminals I have. That way I can use them for future projects.

 

I had tacos lastnight. Delicious.

 

It comes out the other end. Surprisingly I'm not scared to fart today.

 

I wouldn't doubt it at all. They all have teams of people that are just for market research. Seeing how the Tacoma is the class leader in the mid size truck market I am quite sure they are paying very close attention to everything that has to do with the Tacomas.
I mean come on, that Colorado has a gas V6 but also has a option that a lot of Tacoma people would die for of a Diesel. It's has sliders, (as they call them) heavy duty skids, Duratracs, restyled bumpers for better approach angles plus the front and rear lockers.
Those are almost all mods that a lot of Tacoma owners do to their trucks to go offroading. They should have just gone with tall & skinnies (255's) and it would have been the perfect out of the box killer of the Tacoma TRD Pro.

With all that said, I'm not saying I would buy it because like you and I were talking about the other day. It's the problems with their fit & finish, Chevy is still very subpar to me...

Going to San Antonio tomorrow and coming back on Sunday. Going for a family member's wedding. Should be fun. Hopefully the flights go well with the two little ones.

I made pulled pork burritos. Mmmm...tasty.

 

I wish I was around next Saturday but I'm going to be on Long Island for forced family fun. High probability of my sister having a meltdown before the event however, it's happened 3 out of the last 5 holidays the bi-polar bitch has chosen to host. So mark me as doubtful. I love Mexican food and that place sound interesting.

 

Oh, and especially margaritas. I love those like a fat kid loves cake.

 

I'm not sure I'd buy one either but I really want to test drive one with a diesel. On paper, it's a very attractive option.

 

It's horrifically ugly. Actually not so much ugly as it just looks... cheap. I just don't like it but of course that's subjective.

 

Jury duty! and if selected I'll be here until December.......swell

Man I have had a headache for the last 2 days!

 

The ZR2 is at least a little better looking.

 

Last time I got called for jury duty I made it to the judge and lawyers and they asked if I had any issue serving on a jury and I told them I dislike law enforcement. Got me relieved real quick.

Oooh, that is better looking. I still don't like how the hood slopes downward so much. Make it look like a Ridgeline.

 

Anybody ever go to Hilton's tent city?

 

It's still a Chevy though. Per them it is normal to have an engine grenade at 70k miles even when their secret warranty details the known issue and repair.

 

Heard a lot about it, if it's what I'm thinking of, the guys I work with speak highly of it.
