The only results I see on google are the inferno taco that arb uses for its promo.

Which thread are you referring to on here?

I'd be interested in seeing more pics of this bumper as well. Also interested in hearing if folks have had to do suspension work at the same time to accommodate the weight.

Did that bumper increase/decrease/neither your approach angle? I LOVE that bumper but it just looks like it sticks so far out in front that it would decrease it. Always been a fan of the ARBs!

I did end up doing the suspension prior to installing the bumper. I went with OME BP-51's and Camburg UCA's. With the added weight from the winch you can see that the front end is slightly below level with the rear. That is with the coilovers being set for 300lbs of additional front end weight.

I'm running the ARB on the OME kit. You will not want to have the bumper+winch without upgrading the front suspension, I drove like that for around 2 months and it had a lot of dive under braking and it bottomed out easily offroad. Otherwise, I love it.

I was in the same boat. I know Midstate Toyota does a lot of these installs but they are pretty far from you.

In the end I decided to just give it a shot and to be honest there were a few (sh*t I should have done that step first) moments but all in all it is pretty easy as long as you allow yourself enough time to correct mistakes and take your time.

I'd be happy to answer any install questions you may have when it comes time for you to install.

On the BP-51's, I really like how it drives and how it performs off road (not much time off-road) but I am a bit disappointed in the adjustability. The rear is easily adjusted but the front is not so. The supplied wrench does not like to fit between the coil itself to reach the adjustment perches. Seems if I want to really adjust it I will have to disconnect the UCA if I need to adjust both the rebound and compression.

Thanks for all the feedback! I will keep you in my back pocket when I pull the trigger.

Also, very interesting about the front coils, that may swing me back to the Icon setup.... only time can tell!

I really love ARB and the design of this bumper. I just have a hard time with how far it sticks out in front of the front wheels. There is a ton of wasted space between the radiator and grille to where you can put accessories in there. I wish Toyota had just shortened the front of the truck which would increase the approach angle and make it easier to install bumpers like this. I mean the front of your truck sticks out like 3 feet from the wheels!

I agree but there aren't many other brands like ARB when it comes to product line. they have been around a lot longer and they are air bag compliant, which a lot of other brands aren't.

One of the other bumpers I am considering is the new Dobinson bumper. really clean lines and to me, looks like a less beefy ARB. take a look!

I have seen that one before, looks really good. I'm not too familiar with Dobinson but I definitely like the look.

I already damaged my bumper, so cutting really makes no difference to me.

Plastic doesn't win in a fight with a snow bank.

K-white's pictures pretty much solidified my choice.
