Racks with tonneau cover on 2017 double cab short bed?

Just got a base 2017 SR 4x4 and need to cover the bed for lockable storage and need racks for bikes, kayaks, SUP boards, etc.

Doesn't look like many options out there according to my searching over the last couple of days.

Right now it looks like the racks I will probably have to go with are the BakRak but I have seen a couple of reviews saying they don't seem to be that sturdy?? Any feedback from others that have these racks would be appreciated.

I am looking at the Bakflip G2 and Revolver X2 for a cover. Not sure if the X2 is compatible with the rack or not though. I think I like the X2 better than the G2 but the G2 will do the trick if that is the only one that will fit.

Any other ideas for other racks/covers you think are better and would fit a 2017 short bed or feedback on the above mentioned items would be appreciated. (I don't want to have to deal with having one custom made either.)

The Voodoo racks look nice but I need something that is going to be higher than the cab for longer canoes and SUP boards.

 

The tall version of our bed rack should work for you. After you add any type of canoe or board rack to it, it makes it higher than the cab.

The voodoo rack will not work with the revolver x2 roll cover. Because the locking sides will interfere with the use of the rail system. Try the truxedo titanium if you want to go with a roll cover.
