This is why I'm doing my research on tires to go with. I want to go with the lightest but strongest. Yeah I may get shit now like when people first thought about going with 35's. But we all see how that went.

This truck won't be my DD when I go SAS. Yeah you can drive an SAS daily but that shit gets old.

I've learned it's way cheaper to buy an older truck or one with a SFA that you can just improve than to build one.

Buy a beater for like a grand. Roommate bought a grand marquee for $1k senior year of highschool, and it's still running 4.5 years later

I have to thank all these builds on here and reading lessons learned. I once spent a shit ton of money and took a huge loss on a Fox body Mustang when I was 17-21. Never again will I do that.

Im learning to find a vehicles max potential before going nuts. Pretty much the whole basis of my build and why I buy everything I can used and beef the stuff that needs it. Shit, I Just got a allpro skid for 100$ yesterday :)

Im with Conner, there are some good used dedicated rigs that have much potential. At the end of the day if you blow it up, youre not out a 2015 2nd gen Tacoma with 50k in it.

Don't listen to the haters. Get your 37s and wheel the shit out of your truck! Haha but in all seriousness do what you want to do because at the end of the day the truck is parked in your drive way.

Agreed! I've been following the "thoughts on 37s" thread since the beginning and everybody said it was stupid and you'll break everything and blah blah blah... but then some guys did it and it wasnt as bad as everyone had thought. yeah, you will break more shit, but you know what doesn't break diffs and axles? The Prius parked at the mall. I don't see many of these haters with a Prius

Quite the contrary sir, many if not all of us have much respect and love for Ace and have never physically met him.

Just want to see the guy get to the ultimate goal without wasting cash.

I agree. Don't want OP to bounce around from different things until he finds what HE truly wants. Money unfortunately doesn't grow on trees

I'm speaking from experience though. 37s are not as bad as you guys are making it sound. I have yet to have any major problems from them (even with a locked front end).

I'm not trying to start anything either and commend you guys for stating a lot of questions that ace may not have thought of.
