Pain management is where I get injections into nerve branches to deaden pain response or more commonly called nerve blocks

    Good Morning Everyone

As mentioned I've got a busy day at the VA today with a visit to my pain management doctor for a consult and to see if I need another nerve block . Later today is my CT scan of my knee

We've got a couple days of cooler weather and strong Santa Ana winds as a storm front passes over our area but won't be producing any precip

Good morning and happy hump day!

Good luck! Not sure about the VA pain management but went through it with my son last year when his cancer was full bore. It can run the gauntlet from drugs to mentally try to ignore it. Not sure anyone has an answer for pain management that is effective. But hope they are able to do something for you. Pain sucks.

The good part starts when my feet hit the deck, above ground! Well it is also the most painful part of the day too though... so I hear you.

Congrats and that is great!! OK guess I will keep doing the PT have the exercise sheets sitting here next to me to make sure I do them right.

    Tacoma Mike,
Question for you if you would be so kind . Dad's Heading to Holton to have his 2015 Toyota Highlander looked at for a catalytic converter issue ( Bought New and He HATES IT). He starts the car check engine light comes on stays on for a few miles then goes out. He gets a strong "rotten eggs" smell in the car for a few minutes then it goes away. It doesn't do this every time he fires it to go somewhere , according to him it started about 4 days ago. It is all covered under warranty. He is and I am curious what might cause this or if it is something you guys are seeing in the highlanders or other similar engine Toyota's ?. He hates it and I am really surprised too because apparently there is a known issue with the transmission shifter getting stuck .. Known enough that it is in the owners manual ?? WTF is that lol. So If you have any thoughts like I said I would be curious what on a new car would cause the cat to act up.

Stick with the PT Mike, I was very skeptical that it would help but it did. Whether it was coincidence or not I don't care. Since beginning PT in September I have noticed a gradual improvement in the severity of pain. Being in constant pain sucks and I feel sorry for anyone that suffers from it.

The Ducks here at the VA are funny & stubborn this morning . My VA has numerous ponds were a lot of ducks visit year round . They usually will walk thru the main driveway entrance in formation and its funny to watch this

A policy here is to not spook them or force them to move and if possible go around them trying not to disturb or panic them

This Morning these two big black & white ducks called Muscovy Ducks wouldn't move or slowly walked across the parking lot . This caused a traffic jam into the main entrance . I was laughing on how stubborn these ducks were and watching the patience of the veterans and staff sitting in their cars trying to get into the facility

I got deer #2 this morning.
I'm all set on meat for the coming year now.
Think it's time to go pheasant hunting.
