Just a bunch of old crap
How about something more centralized like Tempe Town Lake? There are quite a few parking lots down there open to the public and free.

    Also:

Vista Del Camino park on Roosevelt between Hayden and Miller. We could rent the big ramada (cheap, but in advance) and have the whole park area there. That's AZ's best disc golf course, too, and dog friendly. On the other end of the park 1/2 mile away on the corner of McDowell and Miller is Duke's Grill which is a huge place with good cheap food, pool tables, outside seating, parking, etc.

    What about places like:

Right off the 87, a few miles past the 4 peaks entrance. Good sized if people think about parking.
    33.727859, -111.503917

Down the main 4 peaks road (Cline cabin road) and South on 143 for a little bit. This one is further but is fairly large.

So how about an off-road group that does Bulldog Canyon in the morning and then meets up with anyone that doesn't want to offroad at Pebble Beach Rec Area? If you route it right the trail would end literally right there.

I think if we want to do an offroad/non-offroad friendly meet somewhere cool/different that's not just a restaurant parking lot that would be the best option.

I'll start working on the logistics for us all here shortly and get some more detailed plans up.

Does anyone have a general idea of when we would want this to happen?
