Hmm, is your fuel tank dented at all? My tank is dented causing my gauge to go from full to half a tank in 60 miles and won't go any lower. My low fuel light still works though. Not sure if it could be a similar cause for you, just a different result. :notsure:

Does Wheelers usually do a Black Friday sale? Looking at getting rear suspension but I may go to Toytec and get it all since it's 10% off

As do I because they have some parts cheaper than Toytec, so if they do 10% off it'll be better. But I think they've only done Icon

Mine does this, doesnt seem to be a fuel level issue. Ive had it happen with a 100% Full tank. It flickers really fast even when stationary. Doesn't happen often enough to annoy me.

My light comes on dims and brights, when it is very close to E. I live on a very high hill, so if downhill, light dims and goes away (truck thinks I have fuel). Other than that, my fuel light is very accurate. If mine started at 1/4 tank, it would be annoying as heck.

I get about 16.5 gallons in, when the light is on.

Might be the sensor malfunctioning. I'll just go the cheap fix and just remove the bulb like you said.

Glad I'm not in your situation I couldn't handle seeing the fuel gauge not being very accurate.

The fuel hand itself is accurate is what makes it weird. what tells the light to come on anyways?

This is a picture of my bent sending unit from when I dented my tank. The little silver cylinder in front of the pump is the low fuel light sensor. It's completely separate from the float.

Are pre runner lower ball joints the same as 4wd ones? I need to replace mine asap because I saw grease coming out from em today, probably won't even drive it until next week.

Anywhere below 3/4 on mine it just jumps around wildly and becomes accurate again at 1/4, stock gauge is like the temp gauge, only a hint of what's actually going on.

I'm sure you'll be fine until they come in, just means they are leaking grease not that they are ready to implode upon use. Feel them for play if you're worried.
