Surprisingly couldn't find this using search, maybe I'm just stupid. Would LOVE to see an Inferno with TRD offroad wheels powder coated.

I can powder coat my OEM ones for $300, but I can also just buy some nice after market wheels for around $600. So trying to decide which will be better.

Sell your stocks and buy new powder coated wheels with the tires you want.

I don't think anyone has done this. It would be the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig... or polishing a turd. Ugliest stock wheels ever placed on a vehicle. My $.02

My TRD PRO wheels (sold them at 5 miles) were uglier than my 16 TRD OR wheels

I'm not a fan of the 3rd gen TRD OR wheels in the first place, but my 2nd gen OR wheels look really good powder coated satin black. And they're easy to find cheap. Just something to consider.

I could probably offer $400 + shipping for just the 4 wheels, depending on the shipping price. The user in the following link was selling his for the same price. There's also a local guy to me selling his full set - wheels AND tires with less than 5K miles for $800.

I think they look amazing. The only people i've talked to that hated them are old (like 55+) they may be too aggressive for their eyes.

You know what looks like shit? Most of the aftermarket wheels i see with strips of chrome everywhere. Know what looks good? SCS, Konig, FN, TRD, Volk, etc.

Also, i hated the 2nd gen TRD OR wheels, love the sport's though.

I don't run aftermarket wheels with strips of chrome everywhere, but thank you for pointing that out. I run black 17" TRD SEMA Pro 4runner wheels very similar to some of the FN knock off's. Wish i had known that you fancied the stockers so much... I'd have sold mine to you instead of the 60 something year old guy that bought them from me.

I've never seen them in person. All the pics i see make them look shiny, is that indeed the case? Also, were they 16" or 17".

Lastly, Why on earth would Toyota not put some better rubber on the Pro?! GEEZ!!

We'll assume the you had a typo in your post when you said "TRD Bro's"... I wouldn't think a person shelling out piles of cash for their TRD Pro grille and skid would be tossing a "Bro" reference around... You know, glass houses and all.

Ya, serious... the '16 OR's are just FUGLY. Although those you've brought to the table are not the greatest looking wheels i've ever seen either!!

Where are you located?? We may be able to work something out. Decided I'm just going to get the 6-spoke TRD wheels from the old FJ cruisers. I can still order them new through my parts dept and they'd be like $600 total. If I can get anything close to $400 for my factory wheels it'll only cost me a few hundred $ at the end of the day (gonna cost $ to mount and balance all the tires/TPMS but shouldn't be too bad)
