I have read many forums and have gotten so much conflicting information.. so I wanted to create my own thread to try and sort this out.

I wanted to know if 285/70r17 BFG ATKO2 tires with the Method 305 NV 17x8.5" 0/4.75" wheels would fit with a leveling kit. (aware of trimming and UCA rubbing)
    http://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/street-wheels/products/nv-black

I saw a few instagram posts saying the 2015 coil spacers do work on the 2016. Can anyone confirm that this is true? I saw procomp has a 2.25" spacer and I believe icon has one as well...

The goal is the cheapest possible leveling kit (for now) because I need new tires for the snow. I will do a UCA with coil lift around Feb-March.

If anyone has experience with this tire size and coil spacer only or any other info would be great. I have gone through that 150 page thread about lifting your 16+ tacoma haha.

I debated on doing this exact setup, the best coil spacer lift on the market right now (in my opionion) would be the Low Range OffRoad 3/1 kit.

there have been a lot of members on this forum use them, their customer service is top notch.

And I know you can fit 285s with that setup (depending on your wheels, you might have to do a cab chop mount)

btw: all of this information is easily searchable on this forum

I would suggest doing it right the first time and being done with it. I redid my front suspension twice, first 5100 with my factory sport coils and spring perches set at max not enough! Just ripped it apart for the second time after a year, and did it right, new upper control arms and adj. coil overs. Came out perfect! Moral of my story, do it right the first time instead of doing it twice! Just my .02

Yeah I agree, but don't have the funding right now. Dog just had surgery and there went my lift money... But am doing some work in January in the snow and the dealer made me sign a waiver saying I would not use my tires in mud or snow and don't want to purchase tires twice. So I figured this method could hold me over until Feb when things lighten up.

OP: you have my exact original mindset "i want an expensive lift, so I'll get a cheap lift right off the bat because I want to fit my aftermarket wheels and larger tires"

That's what I ultimately decided to do... I'm just talked to Headstrong and they are going to set me up with Bilstein 5100s, OME 888s, and a Dakar AAL... I'd rather do the lift 1 time and the 5100 setup and OME coils are a good lift for the best price.

Right! hahaha I am fine with Bilstein and OME setup, but I am trying to work my connections I have through work so Method Wheels and Camburg fits the bill.
