My uncle used to race in the WERA series, I think he stopped in the late 90's

Im 6'4 and 270lbs too so my 06 r6 was grunting... my 05 r6 had way more lowend and gave me quicker lap times

 

1978 Suzuki GS 1000 restored by myself, including welded crank and 1085 kit, RS34 flatslide carbs.

Here is my ride: '06 Road Glide, currently with 37K miles on it. Yes, it's an old man's bike, I know.... Hey I'm 56, whatayagonnado?

 

First pic is the day it came home.

Second pic is the 1st time taking the Toyota and the Honda up North to the Cabin for a bike trip!! The Taco is only 4 months old here!

Also, since I am so new to TacomaWorld.....anybody who can tell me how to load a pic in the post rather than attachments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I started on motorcycles when I got a Honda 50 for my 4th birthday, but I only have pictures of my streetbikes.

Here they are:

2001 Yamah YZF600R that I bought destroyed in October of 2001 and put back together. The damage was far worse than I thought it was. I wish I had just bought a new one, but I ended up getting it back in to shape. I rode this bike until August of 2004. Lots of good times. I bought the car in May of 2003 as a graduation gift to myself. I drove it until I bought my Taco in May of 09.

2004 Buell XB12R Firebolt that I bought new in August of 2004. I really liked the gold and graphite frame when I bought it, but I ended up preferring black. When I sold this bike in April of 2008 the "kid" (about 20) that bought it from me crashed it and it was stolen within 48 hours of his picking it up. Just to top it all off he didn't even have full coverage insurance. I spent a lot of time on that bike, but thank god I was smart enough to wait until payment cleared to turn it over to him!


2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 that I bought in October of 2009. I sold the Buell because I needed to make room in my budget for student loans after I finished my MBA, and as soon as I had the ability to have another bike I went on the hunt. I picked this up right before winter in KC about 2 months before I moved to Austin. I can't believe how fast this bike is right out of the box. It is the scariest bike I have ever been on.

First bike was a 1993 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II with less than 8000 miles. Had that for a few years, then got an 06 GSXR 600 and love it! Traded the SECA a few months ago for a 04 Kawasaki KFX400.

 

Technically my dads but working on paying him for it.
