It's not a mystery. Take off the damn cap!

I keep telling people this, the cap over the uniball traps moisture instead of it naturally venting and drying. It's a cesspool of rust accelerants. I sold my truck with 40k miles on original uniballs that had no play and no pitting, and I have snow, salt, and shit on the road 4 months a year.

Uniballs are easy. When you get your balls dirty, hose them off with warm water and they will take care of you.

this conversation just went full circle.
so we are back to George now right.
so they failed at 10k. did you do maintenance on them after every time they saw dirt, sand,or snow? Im only asking because i really liked the covers and the icons and thought these would be a nice upgrade, but i got +30k out of my POS LR BJs, thus leaving me to think the LR's are not so bad. I went cheap when I bought mine and leaned away from uni balls because I read that you have to do constant maintenance. Just wondering if it was lack of maintenance or bad product.

In the pre-dawn stillness, I like to go sit beside my truck and listen to the shocks ooze. Try that with any other brand.

Spotless under the covers. Zero pitting. My balls look and feel great till you grab them and move them up and down.

Yes I clean and spray them monthly. In the year I've had then never been in mud (I hate mud) in snow twice and a couple of stream crossings 3trips to eagle lakes and 2 trips to slick rock :notsure:

Oh and forgot about the 1 desert run with a couple crazy fuckers on here @tyfoon11 @EDDO :D

I can attest to the fact that George's balls looked and felt great, they hung a little low but that comes with age.
