I posted this question in the suspension forum but doesn't seem to have the same amount of traffic as here. I want to get 2in or just slightly above lift on my 17 DCSB I was wondering what ome springs to use on 5100s. I know 887 give you 2in on the ome shocks but don't know about 5100s.

I got nearly 3 inches on my 2nd gen with 887s and N140s. I would think that you would get closer to 2 with 884s on 5100s with no added front end weight?

    I'll answer it for you.

    5100s and 887s make 3" on a 2nd gen. Therefore they would make 2" on a 3rd gen.

    887s should give you 2" with 5100s

If I wanted to just level it out maybe set the 5100s in the front to the .75 setting with stock spring would that do the trick? not looking to add any crazy lift, just want to level the front out

5100's at 0 with 887 gave me 2.75 inches. This is enough to radically change your geometry. Need new UCA with this. I had it and put the stock springs back on and upped the 5100 to the first notch. This gave about 1.75-2 inches and it rides really good. You can still do an AAL with this in the rear, but you will still be a little canted forward. Planning a topper and heavy rear bumper which should level me out. No problem with 275/70R17 KO2s.

888 coils with 5100s at 0 will give you 2.75-3'' after they settle/sag a bit. The 888, 5100 combo is recommended the 888s were specifically designed for turd gen. Good luck and search a bit helps from getting flamed on here lol.

How is he ride with the 884's. Iam running 3 inch eibach coils and 5100's at 0 and it's a little stiff.

That's what I don't get. Most ppl say you get 2in but there are ppl that I have heard end up higher. I understand yours is an AC as opposed to the DC but you wouldn't think that would change .750 in more.

Agreed. I think if all you want to do is level get the 5100's and up one notch. Align, put 275's on it and done.
