Selling these Rocky Mounts Tomahawk Bike Mounts. Used once for a beach trip this past summer. Installed them in June of 2016 and removed them November 12, 2016. Will not separate. One key works for the locks on both mounts. These worked great I just didn't like putting the bikes on the roof of the 4runner. Will not ship.
    $200.00 for the pair.

    From Rocky Mounts website vvvv
Low profile upright mount that's easy to use and even easier on your wallet.
Fat bike ready out of the box (up to 5" tires), and will hold all styles of bikes, road, mountain, cruiser, and childrens (20 - 29" wheels)

    Each Mount:
No bike frame contact - simply ratchet the hook over the front wheel and secure the front/rear wheelstraps
Fat bike ready (up to 5" tires) out of the box. Includes two wheel strap extensions
Swingarm easily adjusts for driver side and passenger side installation
Mounts to all styles of crossbars - round, square, factory, aero
Holds all styles of bikes, 20 - 29" wheels (except those with front fenders)
New Easy-Load wheel straps make loading bikes easier than ever

Do you have any pictures of them mounted to your truck? How do they mount to the cross bars.

They mounted directly to my wife's factory roof cross bars using hex head bolts and contoured clamps. I can get you a pic of the clamp as soon as I get home this evening.

These pics are from the website.

Rear clamp. The rear clamp slides to adjust to your roof rack crossbars.

Thank you for the pictures. I'm not sure how much I would use them.

I might be willing to if they don't sell local over the next few weeks. I wish I saved the boxes they came in.

    You're welcome

Well, I live in Louisville. USPS should be fairly inexpensive. 40047.

That sure does sound high. I shipped 4 tires to Texas and it was under 175. That was USPS

I remember being told it was all about the box size by a UPS driver. A buddy shipped me some motorcycle tires and it was ridiculously expensive because he boxed them. If he had wrapped them in cling wrap it would have been cheaper but the UPS store wouldn't let him and he didn't know the wiser. I wonder if it's the same case with boxes and the USPS???

I believe your correct, it's the size not the weight. My mom would send my like 25# of stuff in one of the flat rate boxes.
