    Hello everyone,

New Tacoma owner, electric vehicle technician by trade, moto/supermoto and ADV enthusiast by passion, general wrencher and parts breaker by design.

I recently picked up a decently setup 06 Dcsb TRD sport as a daily driver. The goal is to have something with good enough street manners that my girlfriend could drive it down the highway if need be, but still be able to do some trail riding and camping.

So far, I'd like to add a high clearance rear bumper, sliders, and a roof rack (probably factory) to haul kayaks with and keep the bed for other gear. I also think I'll go down to 33s once these tires wear out. They were new from the previous owner, but they get into the fender flares pretty bad if I am turning and hit a big enough bump.

Right now I'm chasing some terrible bump steer, so that is #1 priority. Waiting on new tie rods before alignment.

In the week I've owned it, I've done the cab mount chop, fixed the overhead display, installed an Extang tonneau cover, oil change and roadforce balanced the tires, as well as removed the front swaybar in search of a better ride over bumps.

Waiting for FedEx to show up with steering rack bushings and tie rods.

    Here's some pics so far.

Ended up with 29" under the front tire before the rear lifted. Maybe I need to research the shackle flip. It's no RTI master, but keeping onroad ability in mind, it should good enough to do some trail riding.

Still though, this bumpsteer is priority!
