ome question???

    I just received my ome 884's and nitrocharger shocks today.First thing i did was measure the coil spring height because when i was looking at buying a new lift i could not get a straight answer as to how much lift i would get with just the springs? So the springs measure 15 1/4 inches? I thought they were 16 inch springs? So am i only gonna get like 1 inch of lift with these coils? So anyway this kinda made me red so i called ARB!
    First of all ARB said they don't even list the 884 for use with the tacoma? WTF:mad: Basically i just wanted a slight lift and improved performance and handling without having to use spacers to acheive this. Can anyone that has this setup tell me how much lift they acheived with just the coils and shocks? Also can i use the ome rear shocks and the stock springs without bottoming out the shock? As always your help is greatly appreciated.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    The 884's will give about 2" + lift. They are 1.25" longer than stock, and a 590# spring rate. The OME rear shocks are fine for the back end of the truck.

    I'm just wondering how i'll acheive the 2+ inches of lift if the 884's are only 1.25 inches longer than stock?

    Sooo a one inch taller spring will yield a 2 inch lift?

    Yes. From my 884 with 1/4" top plate spacer I got over 3" lift on my 4 banger, confused me but whatever haha
