Got mine finally up and used this weekend. loved it! amazing! and even better, the wife loved it.

Nice set up I would love to see it set up in person. Looking a doing a RTT but have not decided if that is the route I want to go. Let me know if you are camping anytime in the North Florida.

Never would have thought this thread would have blown up the way that it has. I want to thank everyone from keeping it from being locked, sharing pics, stories, tips, more shit i need to buy for my own personal tent (2+ years has taken it's tole on my zippers) and just overall helping each other out. Lets keep it rollin

 

I'm sure its been discussed, and I'm sorry, but does anyone know of a bed rack that will also work with a tonneau?

 

Depends on the cover, but the Mobtown bars will work with many of them.

On my last trip to Moab we had a few big thunder storms and my other half was a bit concerned so I figured id ask what all your opinions are about being in your RTT during thunderstorms?

 

I slept in my old tepui during storms with no issues my CVT hasn't seen a storm yet tho

 

We've only used it for one weekend, but so far we love it!

 

It holds up fine. Wind just makes it super loud.

 

I've had my Tepui in a couple big thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail. Tent held up great but the annex roof did collect water no matter how tight I had it roped down.

 

I've had it in one and it was awesome! Wind wasn't too terrible but of course there was the alcohol that helped knock me out

 

Thank you guys for the responses. I think she was more concerned about being one of the tallest things in the open with the lighting.

 

Don't be the tallest thing... or get a lightning rod

 

its tough in that area.
