    I was just reading about the dungeness crab season in california. seems the warmer ocean temps have caused an increase in a certain alge which makes a neurotoxin called Domoic acid. The crabs ingest this and it can be fatal to humans. so the whole state has banned crabbing until they have 2 clean seasons. it's heart breaking hearing the stories about fisherman becoming homeless.
