I am working on dual residency here and Texas (I own a couple hundred acres there) so I can hunt without paying for out of state tags. Maybe that will allow me to buy there.

That would be outstanding, I have a form 1 I'm waiting on right now and plan on getting a suppressor in the near future.

 

I want to do a gun trust to get a 12" barrel and suppressor.

 

I filed as an individual and used snail mail, so I have awhile to wait... it's been 77 days since I sent it out and 69 since they cashed my check

 

I heard that takes up to 3-6 months

 

Yeah, lately it's been in the 160-170 day range

Yea it's 100 yards, I think they just built a 300 yard range too. I want to shot my Remington 700 .308.

Yep, since mine is filed individual I have to engrave my name, along with the city and state I "manufactured" the weapon in

I'm applying for permission to manufacture a firearm, in reality I'll only be adding a stock to a pistol which then makes it a short barreled rifle

 

Two of these will land you in a federal prison. The rest are perfectly legal

Google it there is a lot to it. But in short it lets you modify you gun beyond the limits but still being legal. You just can't let people touch it but you unless you put their name on the trust.
